Does anybody know if there is a scientific explanation of the dogs-nearly-strangling-themself-with-a-lead-when-out-for-a-walk phenomenon? Is it masochistic or are they so busy nowadays, maybe it's some sort of midlife crisis and they think they'll miss something if they don't hurry?
